The Battle of Cowpens
During the Battle of Cowpens in January of 1781, Daniel Morgan won a clear victory. He decided to put a small militia force in front. Morgan told them all to fire three shots each. And when they did this, they were to retreat. Therefore, the British came forward and surprisingly met a charging cavalry and a line of skilled riflemen. I believe that this was the least important battle of the Revolution because nothing really happened here that was that great except for the American victory.
